Three young Cartagena are moving these days in Uruguay, Italy and Germany to undertake a project of European Voluntary actions under the Community Programme Youth in Action.
They are designed to promote international mobility and intercultural learning in informal educational contexts.
Juan Diego, 24, will make his volunteerism in an Italian town called Sant'Angelo di Gatteo in the region of Emilia Romagna, engaging in socio-cultural activities in a residence for seniors.
Sofia, 25, is located in Montevideo (Uruguay) as a volunteer in the NGO South Educarte organizing and developing training activities and free time with children and youth at risk of social exclusion.
Finally, Carmen, 22, will move next week to Nauen, Germany, to collaborate on various activities carried out by a youth organization in European mobility projects.
