The Information Commission of Finance and Home Affairs met this morning in the council room of the Administration Building, among other matters on the agenda, has ruled with the favorable votes of the PP and PSOE an agreement between the City of Cartagena and Regional Revenue Agency of the CARM for debt collection outside the territory of the municipality of Cartagena.

The objective of this agreement is that citizens of other municipalities in the region who come to Cartagena and make any moving violations in the city, meet its debt with the local administration through the Regional Revenue Agency.

So far, the collection of such fines, speeding was very difficult for the municipality of Cartagena.

In addition, the Commission at the request of neighbors, has given the green light to the PP and PSOE votes of the nomination of a place in Alumbres Plaza Dr. José Gutiérrez Mecca, and a street in the industrial zone as Los Belones Perfect street Mecca Solana, former president of the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena.

The latter nomination entities have joined the economic and industrial area and the former mayors of the city.

The Commission has stated, also, the creation of the Municipal Steering Body General Coordinator called Deputy Mayor, replacing the General Coordinator of Planning and Development, with the votes for the PP and PSOE abstained.

The Councillor for Finance and Interior, José Cabezas explained that not create any new position, but because of the new local organization, a charge is replaced by another.

Remember that Deputy Mayor is responsible for technical coordination and momentum to the handling of the works included in the Plan to Stimulate Economy and Employment (Plan), requiring the figure of this technical coordinator.

Also outside the agenda and the votes for the PP and PSOE's abstention, the Commission has reported favorably on the accession of the City of Cartagena to the Public Transport Authority, an agency of the Ministry of Public Works.

With this membership, is to coordinate transportation policies throughout the territory, mainly those on the buses (servivios, fees, bonds ...).

The City of Cartagena is the second local government to adhere to this entity, then the City of Murcia.
