She also pointed out the investment of 8.8 billion euros in the rehabilitation of the Town Hall of Cartagena, action that was funded entirely by the Ministry of Housing and served, in the words of the delegate of the Government, "to return to Life is important to the city's architectural jewel in 2007 celebrated 100 years since its opening. "
Moreover, in 2006, the Ministry of Environment became the Ministry of Defence military batteries currently unused coast, among which are Cala Cortina, X Position, Castillitos, Gables and Conejos, La Chapa.
The aim is to ensure and strengthen their protection and inclusion in the Maritime Terrestrial Public Domain.
To this is added the archaeological, artistic and landscape of Cartagena, which in the opinion of González Tovar, constitutes a privileged and highly attractive for tourism, which should be supplemented with new measures such as those raised from the parliamentary arena.
Therefore considers it of great interest that Members visit and know the city first hand, and move forward to the need to carry out new cultural initiatives in this historic city.
