Cartagena City Council will make large families and pensioners who live in communities of owners in that there is a single counter, can benefit from the bonus approved for these groups in the water bill, as reported by the council of finance, Joseph seamounts.

Until now could only do those families and pensioners who had a single water meter.

The Councillor of Finance has maintained contacts these days with the concessionaire of the service, Aquagest, and has refereed to it the necessary formulas for aid to reach all large families and pensioners.

The only difference from those with a single counter, is that instead of deducting the bonus in each of the bills, the families who live in communities with unique counter will be refunded the full amount by year end bank transfer.

In order to apply the reduction, consumption of communities with unique counter is divided by the number of households for consumption of a large family or the pensioner in question, and there shall be deducted cubic meters or tariff discounts apply for .

It will be recalled water rates for 2009, bonuses in the first 11 bi-monthly bills cubic meters of pensioners (in 2008 there were nine).
