Women's Association 'Women's Centre' in the Mediterranean Urbanization has convened two contests, one for painting and a poem, in its second and eighteenth edition.
In the first contest, the paint under the name 'Angel Flores', open to all born or currently residing in the region of Murcia, with work done with any full-color painting technique and free theme.
The work must go forward without the author's display name.
You must write your name or pseudonym, photocopy of ID and contact telephone number, in a sealed envelope (envelope) attached behind the work.
The award winner will be 300 euros commemorative trophy and a second prize of 100 euros.
The works will be delivered to the travel agency of the Private Mediterranean (located on Ruby Street, 27), the Center for Women, Thursdays from 16 to 18 hours, until 19 February.
POETRY
Moreover, with the intention of promoting the initiative poetry of everyone over 16 years, the women's association has called the eighteenth Poetry Contest, in which people can participate who have not published a book of poetry.
The poems are presented in Spanish and free theme, with a minimum length of 10 and maximum of 50 lines, typed on one side, five copies and only one poem per author.
There will be two awards: first prize, $ 350, and trophies, and a second prize of 150 euros and a trophy.
The works will not sign, bear an alias.
In another envelope will contain the theme of working abroad, and within the name, phone number and address of the author / a.
The envelope will be presented closed.
The works will be sent to Emerald Street, No. 9 under B, the Mediterranean Private, 30310 Cartagena, indicate on the envelope for the Poetry Contest XVIII Women's Center.
The entry period will be from the publication of the bases until the day February 10, 2009.
The jury for both competitions will be announced on March 7.
