IU spokesman + The Greens in the regional assembly, José Antonio Pujante, the coordinator of IU in Cartagena, Victoria Rodriguez, and former deputy of such training, Jaime Cayetano Molto, today held a meeting with representatives of the Spanish Enterprise Zinc (zincs).
At that meeting, the workers expressed their uncertainty and recalled the difficulties that are happening within the family, and have not received wages for more than three months, while expressing concern about the timeliness and fear of losing their jobs.
For its part, Victoria Rodríguez required compliance with the agreement signed by all political forces in the city of Cartagena to ensure the maintenance of those jobs, while Jose Antonio Pujante expressed strong support for the workers and the regional government requested its "total" involvement in the project of building the company in the industrial area of Los Camachos.
