The festival of young talents Mucho Mas Mayo Cartagena, an initiative of the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, is releasing its 2009 edition.
It opened to the deadline for submission of projects to young people between 16 and 35 years of any artistic discipline or submit creative language until 30th January.
In addition, and as of today, it opens the deadline for submitting films for the Cartagena IV Short week, a sign that attempts to show the works of filmmakers to create an environment of disclosure and approach to the world of the film.
The character of this sample is not competitive.
All the productions presented whether local, regional or national theme will be free, made from January 1, 2008, Castilian or subtitled in that language, no more than 20 minutes and presented in digital format.

With respect to other disciplines, each artist or group may submit as many projects as you need, the theme being free, and indicating whether it is unpublished or has been lodged at another festival.
The registration form can be collected in the Department of Youth or the festival website www.muchomasmayo.com The festival leaves total freedom to the participants of the sites chosen for their projects, as the theme to develop and artistic activity but for this year, in addition to the general areas of the city, has been selected the neighborhood of Santa Lucia as one of the locations of many of the projects.
The projects submitted will undergo a selection process by a committee elected by the organization, chaired by the Councillor for Youth and composed of renowned professionals from various artistic disciplines and two technicians of the council.
The selected projects that are part of the festival's program will be included later in a catalog and a DVD which will encompass all the actions undertaken.

Mucho Mas Mayo has become one of the major festivals in the region through artistic intervention in urban youth as a new means of expression.
Entries will be delivered at the headquarters of the Youth Council of Cartagena or by certified mail to that council.
