Two individuals, one a Spanish and a Ukrainian national, were arrested at dawn Thursday, January 1, for allegedly stealing a few thousand kilos of copper material in an electromechanical company located on Pine Street La Palma.
Local police unit that was conducting prevention efforts of public safety by that council was to see a van suspected to circulate slowly, testing the approach in the rear of the vehicle, which was open, was all that amount of copper, part loaded on it and another on the ground even without load.
The officers found traces of copper in all the way and the road up to the boundary wall of an electromechanical company to which individuals had agreed climb by placing a wooden pallet.
Apparently, the detainees had made several tons of iron, copper and electrical equipment were prepared to pass across the wall.
