The sixth edition of the Christmas Tournament Grassroots Cartagena City was held yesterday at the Municipal Stadium and Sports City Cartagonova Gómez Meseguer categories of juvenile, infant, and a cadet.
This championship was attended by Fulham CF, Elche CF and host selection of Cartagena.
In the juvenile category, was won by Fulham after winning by 4 to 3 Cartagenera selection, and 1-0 at Elche CF port team was runner after winning by 1 to 0 at Elche CF child in the cadet category, the Elche CF won the victory after winning 2 to 1 and tied 1 to 1 (won on penalties) to the selection of Cartagena.
The workshop was developed with very good atmosphere in the grandstands, and great sportsmanship on the pitch.
Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gómez López, was present during the championship.
In conclusion, there was the awards ceremony, attended by the president of the Fundación Ciudad Deportiva, José Meseguer, and general manager of FC Cartagena, Francisco López and technicians of the Department of Sports.
In addition to the awards to the winning teams were awarded other gifts to individual awards: the player promise (Jonathan Fulham FC), top scorer (Alex Selection of Cartagena) and fewest goals in team (CF Cornel's Take).
This activity is organized by the Sports Council of Cartagena and has the support of the Directorate General Sports in the region of Murcia, College of Physical Education Graduates in the Region of Murcia, Cartagena Club Sport for All Association club the District of Cartagena and Federated Referee Delegation of the District of Cartagena.
