About 1,350 more from the forty clubs and nursing homes around the town of Cartagena attended the Friday, December 12, living in a day of Christmas, held at the premises of the Botanical Garden.
The seminar, organized by the Municipal Social Services Department Area Social Service, was opened by the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, who chatted during his stay with the elderly.
Also attended the council, Antonio Calderon, Social Care, Isaiah Carmanzana Blaya, Environment, and Nicolás Ángel Bernal, José María Roca and María Dolores García Gutiérrez Nieto, Neighborhood Relations.
This year in the raffles were awarded Algar clubs, San José Obrero, birth and four Saints: the latter won a weekend at the Spa Hotel in La Manga Entremares; to losanteiores accounted for Christmas baskets with various products.
The solidarity contribution was delivered by Councilman Social Care centers at Bethany Home and Sisters of the Poor, the fruit of the clubs shops that sold at the fair over the years.
