The Zulo sculpture, designed by Victor Ochoa, acquired by the city of Cartagena to honor the victims of terrorism, has no fixed location even though it is known to be installed in the port area, and is scheduled to open for the next March.
This has been the occasion of the visit that the new CEO of the Association of Victims of Terrorism in the Region, Alejandro Urteaga, and the head of it in Cartagena, Emilio Bernal, have made this morning to the mayor, Pilar Barreiro, who they have moved their wish that the act of homage be present representatives of victims' associations around the country and political parties united in this celebration.
Regarding the controversy about the high cost of the sculpture, Urteaga and Bernal have stated that they remain on the sidelines of discussions and political stripes and that what needs to be highlighted is the humanitarian sense of appreciation to the victims of Terrorism sculpture, not economic hue.
The Association of Victims of Terrorism in the Region of Murcia has currently with 89 members, being direct victims around thirty.
