The commitment to promote active tourism with nature is the axis around which the development of the plane Calblanque Regional Park, Monte de las Cenizas y Peña del Águila, an initiative of the City of Cartagena and the Autonomous Region which includes an environmental guide paths, interior roads of interest both as cultural tourism, emergency phones and everything needed to enjoy a stroll around this nature reserve benchmark in the region.
The Councillor of Tourism of the City of Cartagena, Javier Herrero, and Director General of Tourism of the Autonomous Community, Angel Campos, have released this document which will promote the area of Calblanque oriented type of tourism than the usual sun and sand.
We are interested in continuing work in this line to set up a similar document that disclosed the La Azohía and Isla Plana, has advanced the Councillor for Tourism.
What is perceived through this plane is Calblanque guide which can do more things than enjoying the sun and the beach, such as sailing, climbing, hiking or caving.
All of this offer, according to Angel Campos, lets break the seasonal flow of tourists coming to the region in the summer months only.
The plans have been presented this morning are available for 9 euros in specialized libraries, and will also serve as an advocacy tool in all national and international tourism fairs in the region participating.
A healthy track
During the presentation of new tourist map and environmental Calblanque has also released S-L14 Trail Care for your Health, a journey of 10,000 steps between Cabo de Palos and La Manga.
According to the World Health Organization, walking 10,000 steps a day improves health, hence this initiative, which has launched the City of Cartagena developing a closed circuit and signaled that goes Entremares Esplanade Hotel in La Manga to the lighthouse Cabo de Palos and from the point of origin.
