The City of Cartagena, through Aquagest Murcia, start SUPPLIES, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2, drinking water to about 250 subscribers residing in Los Camacho and Blessed, areas for thirty years and to date received this service in the municipality of La Union.
As explained Councillor for Infrastructure and Services, José Vicente Albaladejo, it was a somewhat anomalous situation, as these settlements are located in the municipality of Cartagena.
To do this, on behalf of the City of Cartagena, Aquagest works carried out during the last month for the construction of a pipeline network parallel to the City of La Union, which includes two internal networks from three miles to Los Camachos and The Blessed and the other of two miles will start after Christmas in Roche Alto.
In addition, it also has set up a comprehensive network of seven kilometers to the provision of three zones from the reservoir Taibilla, located in the Cabezo Rajan.
Albaladejo has also noted that throughout this week will Aquagest operators connecting new subscribers as possible avoid any inconvenience these works may cause.
Note that all this new network supplying potable water has been made under the European Development Fund (ERDF), aimed at reducing disparities between levels of development of different regions.
