The Local Government of the City of Cartagena has approved the procurement records to start the management of the Centre for Child Care (IAC) of the Albujón and Points of Care for Children (EPI) and La Aparecida La Puebla once they have been given for completed construction.
As pointed out by the government team spokesman, Joaquin Segado, it is expected that procurement procedures are borne in the first quarter of 2009 and may thus come into operation, since they are centers that do not have to conform to the school year.
In particular, these centers will address children four months to three years, enabling the reconciliation of family and professional life of their parents.
In the case of EPI and La Aparecida La Puebla, will have capacity for between 41 and 60 children depending on their age.
For his part of the CAI Albujón may cover up to 94 children.
Following the creation of such districts and provincial centers, the Governing Board also approved this morning the first phase of construction of a Centre for Child Care in Private Mediterranean, which will have capacity for 200 children.
