The City of Cartagena hire 32 unemployed people, of various trades such as plumbers, gardeners, construction workers and drivers to perform tasks for improvement and maintenance of gardens and municipal parks.
The Local Government Committee this morning approved the budget from a grant of 518,000 euros of Employment and Training Service of the Autonomous Community (SEF) and a municipal contribution of 117,000 euros.
The hiring will be for a period of six months, and as explained by the government team spokesman, Joaquin Segado, during this time are primarily responsible for repair and renovate existing irrigation systems of parks and some other maintenance tasks in coordination with the brigade Municipal Gardens.
