Councillors Social Care, Antonio Calderon, Decentralization and Health and Citizenship, Nicholas Angel Bernal, participated last Saturday in a meeting of neighborhood associations and municipal Immigrants.
The session lasted four hours and it took about thirty people, all representatives of the groups mentioned, joined by members of the board of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations 'Fernando Garrido' and technicians Immigration Program of the City of Cartagena.
This meeting is part of the Building Project Participation and Living Spaces, which has among its main objectives to reflect on the situation of the relationship between different cultures in different neighborhoods and districts and to seek proposals for joint efforts to improve these relationships.
During the day, which was led by experts of the Consortium of Agencies for the Comprehensive Action to Immigration, we analyzed the relationships between cultures, the difficulties and obstacles to make them all the same, and the benefits of this diversity.
The closure of the activity, which coincided with the reading of the findings of work, with the participation of Councillors referred to the Director of the Municipal Institute of Social Services and the President of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations and District of Cartagena.
