The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, received this morning the president of the Federation of Carthaginians and Romans Festival, Anthony Madrid, who has reported that the Festival dates remain the same conclusion that so far, by majority decision of the Full Federation.
Madrid has indicated that nine presidents bet to advance the celebration a week and seven others, for celebrating the end of June, compared with 24 who voted to keep them in the current dates.
The president of the Federation has recognized that this will be a difficult year for the economic situation is affecting the country.
The budget for the holidays next year will depend on the support of regional and local administrations, and the sponsors, although it will be necessary to reduce expenses.
According to Antonio Madrid, the Federation is now immersed in the reform of its statutes and a restructuring of its board.
