Juan Castaño López, director general of Ratings and Social Inclusion Programmes, and Antonio Calderon, councilor of Social Care, presented the Social Skills II Course in Rascasa Association, for which the City Council has allocated € 21,000 subsidized through Ratings and Directorate General of Social Inclusion Programs.
In the presentation of the course were also the director of the Municipal Institute of Social Services, Antonio Mule, and technicians responsible for social inclusion programs.
In the course of social skills involved 15 students and will run until next March 3, 2009, a total of 280 lessons.
The tender process of the training and selection of students is accomplished through social inclusion programs of social centers 1 and 2 of the Municipal Institute of Social Services City of Cartagena.
The contents are based on five personal growth workshops, socialization, professional skills, work and employment, occupation specific training, among other content.
This course is included in training programs for social integration designed to stimulate and enhance the role of social support as a means to combat social exclusion.
The amount of the training grants is within the Social Action Institute Murciano intended for training programs for the integration of people experiencing or at risk of social exclusion.
