Miraculously it was not and was attributed to the protection of the Four Saints happy ending.
The Corporation then decided to hold every year an act of gratitude to the Four Saints and the Virgin del Rosell, who has been doing since then.
La Virgen del Rosell and Four Saints are the oldest religious invocations of the municipality of Cartagena and are common in the annals of history to find the holding prayers and processions with which the Cartagena asked or gave thanks for their protection from threats or disasters.
Six years ago the parish of Santa Maria de Gracia recovered the celebration of the feast of the Virgen del Rosell in early November, with a massive outcry and an offering of various associations in the city.
The City Council wanted to return the character that was originally popular Votive Function and in coordination with the parish of Santa Maria agreed two years ago to join his celebration of the Virgen del Rosell, to which the invocation of the Four Saints has always been linked.
In addition to the function at Four Municipal Votive Santos Saturday's ceremony included the usual cry of exaltation to the Virgen del Rosell, which this year will be borne by the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, and a wreath on the part of authorities, civil institutions, guilds, associations, religious associations, faithful and devoted in general.
