The diploma ceremony Create Business Course, which has developed over the months of September and October, was held last night at the Ceremonial Hall of the Town Hall.
The event was attended by the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, who was joined at the head table by the director general of Immigration and volunteering, Leopoldo Navarro, and the president of the Foundation Creates Company, Javier Collado.
The course consists of a company creates training program for immigrants to be constituted as autonomous, which involved 25 students, immigrants living in the municipality of Cartagena, from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Uruguay.
The Program has been developed successfully in other municipalities in the region such as Murcia, Lorca, Totana, Torre Pacheco and Fuente Alamo, aims to promote entrepreneurship and the promotion of productive savings between immigrants by providing an interdisciplinary training of different functional areas of the company, transmitting data processing techniques to a business problem and providing a highly practical training.
The duration of the program has been eight weeks and developed in the premises of the Centro Intercultural de Los Dolores.
