The texts may be works of any age or own, provided the comedy and with a minimum of 60 minutes
The Cultural Association 'Theatre Now "has organized the XI Comedy Contest' La Palma ', which may participate groups, companies and associations nationally and internationally.
Along with the entry form must be attached to a DVD on the total development of the work and documentation regarding the installation, set design, technical needs, program notes and script of the show.
Along with brief curriculum provide registration of the group or company.

The organizing committee will select the final three shows to be held in the Auditorium of the Civic Center of La Palma.
The assembly selected to represent the public and jury on Friday 13, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 February 2009.
The closing and prize giving will be on Saturday 21 February.
The texts will represent authors of any era or one of yours, which may be monologues, and always a matter of comedy and minimum duration of 60 minutes.
Admission for proposals will close on January 16, 2009.
The three groups selected for the final count with an aid of 1,200 euros each to cover subsistence and travel expenses.
The jury will award a prize for best actress, best lead actor, best actress, best supporting actor and best director.
The awards consist of bronze sculptures by internationally renowned artist Maite Defruc.
