The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, defended in Congress, using its status as a Member of Parliament, a package of amendments which increase the items asked for our city within the general state budget submitted by the national government .
According to Pilar Barreiro, a number of materials such as water, high-speed rail or road, which is necessary to put more money, as do issues such as the regeneration of the bay of Portman, which and not on any party.
In the latter case does not present amendment but other parliamentary initiative.
Among the most important amendments are, in reference to the railroad, two totaling seven million euros to launch the high speed between Murcia and Cartagena, and in order to initiate the necessary works for the integration and remodeling of the arterial network dela city railway the adequacy of disclosures.
For roads, an amendment calls for two million euros for the splitting of the A-30, in connection with Cabezo Beaza and the road to La Manga.
In addition, a second amendment for an additional 2 million euros is intended for the third rail of Puerto de la Cadena to extend to Miranda.

On the issue of justice, has tabled an amendment to create new criminal courts and commercial Cartagena, and in regard to regeneration and coastal conservation and construction of new boardwalks include an amendment to a amount of additional 2 million euros.
On the other hand, there is an amendment to create a fund to compensate municipalities with military installations in their territory with a contribution of 5 million euros.
Finally, infrastructure management and water has tabled an amendment to the construction of a reservoir in the area of Cartagena.
