The Department of Sports City of Cartagena has become a launch for the second consecutive year, the ADE (Close to elite sports) for the academic year 2008-09, which is expected to attend fifty schools the entire area of Cartagena, which represents about 2,000 students.
The second edition of the ADE program, which is aimed at students in sixth grade of primary school, will begin tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 30, from 10.45 hours, with a visit by the Mediterranean CEIP La Manga the Municipal Pavilion Table Tennis-specific, to make contact with the Club Floymape UCAM Cartagena.
This program is organized by the Department of Sports and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia and the Association of Graduates in Physical Education as well as the clubs participating in the program, such as FC Cartagena Futsal Peinsa Cartagena, Tala South Volleyball Club UPCT, Athletics Club El Cano, UCAM Athletics Club Cartagena, Cartagena Martial Arts Club PMD, Rhythm Club Cartagena, Cartagena and UCAM Floymape Imoinsa UCAM Cartagena.
These new specialties join basketball, with the Peinsa BSR, swimming and water activities with the NC Ancora Cartagonova and Cartagena.
ADE The objectives are:
Approach to sports from all perspectives: athletes, coaches, facilities, rules, competitions.
Sport Promotion and information from the base.
Creating healthy habits through sport, as is the practice of a sport and closer knowledge of it.
Attend competitions.
Institutional and social recognition to athletes and high-performance clubs Cartagena.
Follow the path of athletes Cartagena.
Collaboration with other municipal departments such as Department of Education, Youth, Social Services.
