Mayor Pilar Barreiro received this morning the president of the Federation of Associations of People with Parkinson's disease in the Region of Murcia, Fabián Martínez Juárez.
The meeting served to inform the Mayor Martinez to be to amend the General State Budget for the construction of Parkinson's Reference Center of Cartagena to begin next year.
The mayor has informed them that tomorrow EPP group presented an amendment to heading for the construction of the center of reference to increase by 400,000 euros for the BUDGET, 2009 recorded only 130,000 euros, representing less than 70,000 euros expected in 2008.
The interest is to unlock the center's construction and throughout 2009 will develop the project and can begin work.
Cartagena City Council has been informed that there Imserso problem whatsoever in providing water services, sewerage and electricity to the plot donated to locate the center but it would be necessary to know the Centre's project to establish the path properly pipes.
