The councilman of Youth, Javier Herrero, and those responsible for SERFAM Cartagena, Association of comprehensive family support, have signed a collaboration agreement to lay the groundwork for a coordinated work with families consisting of young members who are in a situation conflict and who need support for resolution.
The Youth Council, through the Social Area Youth Space, is developing a Family Care Program since October 2007 which caters to both young and parents, individually and in group therapy with the priority for families with young people acquire the skills and resources that enable a comprehensive growth of the family.
By signing the agreement with SERFAM seeks to broaden the focus on young people and their families, through specific actions such as family mediation and inter-generational family orientation and family education psychology care through training activities.
SERFAM association with a multidisciplinary team, appropriate for the care of these cases and operates by the agreement with the Autonomous Community of Murcia to intervene in family, to which is added to today's agreement with the Department of Youth of the City of Cartagena.
To use the services, public and free of SERFAM, both young parents can apply through the Social Area Young Area Youth Council of the City of Cartagena and, after an individual appointment, assess intervention advisable.
