30 Over 60 years attend the two courses planned by the Municipal Institute of Social Services and Seniors Program, to bring the use of new technologies and the Internet to this group.
The first course takes place from October 6 to November 24 and the second from October 7 to November 25 in the computer rooms of the building of the Miraculous 1st floor.
The courses try to familiarize yourself with the major computer and teach basic concepts of the Windows environment and internet navigation.
Among the many objectives being pursued in the Elderly Program is encouraging the active participation of the elderly, by offering courses that spend their free time creatively and orderly development of their personal abilities and promoting their relationship with other people and preventing social isolation and loneliness.
Knowledge of the use of computers and Internet use, offers many of these major improvements in the quality of life, personal autonomy and their ability to interact.
