The Cartagena Book Fair this year celebrates its twenty-seventh edition, and it does ahead of time and changing location.
Will be in the Calle del Carmen and its surroundings (Icue square, street Soap) from 17 to 26 October and this edition has tripled the number of stands with respect to last year, to reach more than forty, of which booths will be thirty bookstores and publishers, also a much higher percentage than in other years.
Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, stressed during the presentation that this Book Fair seeks to children, youth and teachers are the main recipients.
To this end, we have organized around the fair many activities, workshops, concerts, contests and entertainment for all ages.
This year will be as varied as any kind of theme will fit in it: from the historical novel, to philosophy and psychology, food or bulls.
Responsible for opening the XXVII edition of the Book Fair will be the novelist Zoé Valdés, next October 17 to 19 hours.
Since then, pass through the booths writers Vicente Molina Foix, Jesus Sanchez Adalid, Laura Rojas-Marcos, Antonio Garrido and Firo Vázquez, Cook 'hot' as well as local authors, for a total of eight.
In addition, and in advance of this year's La Mar de Músicas dedicated to Morocco, will have a booth dedicated to this country under the title 'Journey to the other side literary', coordinated by Carmen Navarro.

The Book Fair this year wants to bring the books, and culture in general, people, and for this reason extends its activities beyond the premises of an exhibition.
In the square will be installed Icue Book Fair Pavilion, inside which events and activities will be developed in addition to the exhibition game of reading, an exhibition featuring more than 70 books, children's game titles that will invite viewers to involved in what they see.
A few meters on the street Soap, Alternative Space offers visitors a place to develop workshops, presentation and other activities.

El Palacio Molina, Cajamurcia, Town Hall Square or the parallel port will be other scenarios where there will be concerts, panels and meetings.
The coordinator of the Fair, Fabiola Diaz, explained that this issue will have a special relationship with music (some concerts are scheduled guitar, classical and pop), with art through exhibitions and workshops, and the food, either by participants or writers through literary menus offer the city's restaurants.
The XXVII Book Fair has a budget of 150,000 euros.
Its opening hours are Monday through Friday from 10 to 14 and 17 to 21 hours.
