The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, opened the cover of the Sports Hall Industrial Estate Cabezo Beaza.
The event was attended, among others, the first deputy mayor, Agustín Guillén, Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gómez López and the president of the Association of Beaza Cabezo Polygon, José Javier Gómez-Vizcaíno, with members representative of different sports clubs in the city, to be regular users of these facilities, as well as estate workers themselves.
The Pavilion is located in the complex promoted by the City of Cartagena, the Association of Cabezo Beaza and Inns of Spain.
Its cost was 1.8 million euros.
Inside has a grandstand for 500 spectators, and multiple dressing rooms and warehouses.
His track, multi-purpose sports use, can be divided into two rooms, thanks to a motorized shade that allows the division.
The main users of the municipal complex will be the workers themselves polygon and representative teams of Cartagena in the disciplines of football, basketball, volleyball and handball.
It is also envisaged that the facility be used for school sports competitions.
