The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, will be responsible for officially opening the 2008/2009 school year to the Department of Women on Monday 6 October.

The event will be held at Piedmont restaurant in Marfagones mills, from 16.30 hours in the afternoon.

The first courses of this first quarter will begin Tuesday, October 14, and they include such diverse subjects as computer science, bobbin lace, catering, accounting, upholstery, glass and paint have, in addition other cultural activities.
