The information committee of Finance and Home Affairs will meet on Monday, October 6, under the chairmanship of Councilman Jose Cabezas area.
The meeting, an ordinary, will be held on 0:30 in the council room of the Administration Building.
The agenda includes three issues, among which is the proposal of Councillor for Culture, Celebration, Archaeological Heritage, Tourism and Women, on accession of the City to Cartagena for the Education Foundation of Culture and Language Spanish to be formed soon to manage Spanish courses for foreigners taking place in our city, as Cervantes Institute.
Among other employers Foundation consists of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Cajamurcia, the International Language Institute of Cartagena and Murcia Turística.
It will be recalled in May 2007 was signed at the Madrid headquarters of the Instituto Cervantes an agreement with the City of Cartagena and Polytechnic University of Cartagena, to create in our city a center for teaching Spanish to foreigners.
Spanish courses for foreigners began to develop in our city a little over one year by Idomático Institute, based in Palacio de Molina.
Since then has involved more than a hundred foreigners in the 16 courses offered.
With the establishment of the foundation is to foster and promote this new offering cultural training offered by the city, with the official backing of the Instituto Cervantes.
The rest of the affairs of the commission relating to the partial amendment of the regulation of municipal libraries and some municipal budget items for 2008.
