Those over 65 years in the municipality of Cartagena will go to the movies for ten cents from Tuesday 7 October, and for all on Tuesdays except public holidays until the end of this year.
The City of Cartagena has worked with the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration with the signing of an agreement which also are present La Caixa and film companies.
In Cartagena, the Mandarache theaters will provide this new leisure facilities for the elderly.
For entry at 0.10 euros, higher than 65 only need to show your ID card or other document proving their age at the cinema box office.
The initiative "Major film" seeks to contribute to the cultural enrichment of the largest considered while enjoying the 'cinema'.
We also intend to promote and diversify the active leisure time occupation of the population, adding another element to the various activities in the Region.
Also seeks to promote social integration and coexistence of this group with other groups to attend theaters to any of its meetings for the general public.
