About a dozen people from different fields related to the mobility of Cartagena attended the Mobility Bureau has been held at the Youth Resource Centre and the City of Cartagena that terminating the European Week mobility.
Among the attendees were representatives of the Port Authority of Cartagena, Local Police, the Municipal Town Planning, the COEC, the Association of Escombreras Valley, the State Organization of Transportation in the Region of Murcia , of ONCE, ALSA, Via Libre, Open Mall, the CCOO, the Federation of Neighborhood Associations, the Association of Cabezo Beaza and Sustainable Development Department.
In the table, there were two documents that have been developed over the past few months with input from these and other agents: Local Strategy for Sustainable Mobility Cartagena and the Social Pact for Sustainable Mobility.
Both documents will be studied by members of the table, within 15 days, to terminate the receipt of contributions and make the final draft of both documents.
The Local Strategy is a document that describes the actions that need to be developed in Cartagena to improve mobility (public transport, pedestrian, safety, education, alternative mobility, etc.)..
The Social Compact is a consensus document developed by all stakeholders in this area down the commitments to be assumed, from all parties, to establish a sustainable local mobility model.
