With the idea of not only clean, but awareness of the need to protect the environment, the city of Cartagena is added this year to the Second Regional Campaign To cleanse the world "with a volunteer cleanup day at the beach Calblanque, which will take place on September 20 between 9:30 and 14:00 hours.
Councillors Sustainable Development, Isaiah Camarzana and Youth, Javier Herrero, have been responsible for organizing and presenting this campaign, which will involve around 130 young volunteers, who will leave by bus from the Youth Council, on the promenade Alfonso XIII, and give them T-shirt, hat, lunch and cleaning materials.
At 9.30 am, the parking Calblanque host a press conference with participants in the conference and the presence of Director General of the Environment of the Region of Murcia.
According to the council for Sustainable Development, Isaiah Camarzana, Calblanque has been selected for their high ecological value, but also will carry out the same day cleaning in the neighborhoods of St. Joseph the Worker and The poposa, in collaboration with neighborhood associations .

'Clean Up the World' is an international environmental campaign since 1993, has achieved more than 40 million people worldwide are involved each year to make their environment a cleaner and healthier.
Since 2003, the Environmental Volunteer Program of the Natural Environment Directorate of the Ministry of Sustainable Development, offers volunteers the opportunity to participate in this campaign.
