Local Board of Carthaginians and Romans met this morning to address all issues relating to safety during this holiday and the coordination of security and police forces to intervene in the good organization and their development.
It was attended by the Security council, Enrique Pérez Abellán, besides the Director General of Security, Carlos Nieto, and general secretary of the Delegation of the Government, Juan José Camarasa, and the heads of the various security forces.
As commented on the Security council, Enrique Pérez Abellán, will service more than 3,000 troops who perform the National Police, Local Police, Firemen, Civil Protection and Civil Guard during the ten-day holiday.
The National Police is responsible for internal monitoring of the site, while the local police will be responsible for outside monitoring, traffic management and parking, as well as control of the fair market time and the scene where events and parades.
The periphery monitoring and access to the city shall be the responsibility of the Guardia Civil.
Depending on the day, there will be between 100 and 150 local police service, divided into shifts.
The traffic device shall consist of twelve agents to be located in the surroundings of the camp after 22 hours, at the opening of the enclosure, and will remain there until its closure.
Civil Protection will have a permanent place of attention in the gate, formed by four people, along with two ambulances and three vehicles.
For its part, firefighters have a permanent checkpoint outside the compound composed of seven people, and a light truck and a fire engine, and material resources.
It will add a catch more when operating in the Port.
The safety device will begin this Friday afternoon and ends on Sunday 28 September.
