The City of Cartagena on Friday presented a plan of adjustment to cope with the economic crisis, according to Treasury increased by Councilman Jose Cabezas, in response to a motion filed by the socialist municipal group in the plenary of the Corporation held this morning.
The Socialist spokesman, Charity Rives, has asked the House to convene a Board in which they are present in both the municipal officers as elected representatives of local groups to establish measures to tackle the economic crisis.
The Councillor of Finance, Jose Cabezas, said that this proposal is late because the government team has established a series of measures to be taken to a special Board of Governors on Friday and will be announced at the end of it.
Last week Councillor for Infrastructure and advanced the measure to freeze the salaries of senior officials of the City, but will not be the only one taken in the coming months.
Seamount has revealed that will reduce current expenditure on specific items, such as protocol and representation expenses and improve efficiency in energy consumption, among others.
