The aim of the workshop, with a duration of 35 hours, is the knowledge and use of the graphics capabilities of lithographic aluminum plates, and photosensitive polyester used in commercial offset printing, the course focus on the technical procedures employed in most interesting different types of plates (classic and straightforward procedures, procedures photosensitive lithographic printing ink and mixed media).
Narciso Echeverría (Cuenca, 1960), is one of the first artists to use photopolymer flexographic plates in Spain, teaching and courses on this technique since 1991.
Currently, his work focuses on the application of computer graphics and lithographic techniques to create prints.
The courses / workshops Creating Graphical Cartagena, involving about 30 artists and visual arts professions, printmaking and illustration, are organized by the Culture Department of the City of Cartagena and gallery-based editor Madrid Ediciones ZMB-Bartlett School of Architecture, in collaboration with People's University of Cartagena and the support and direct participation Murciano Graphic Arts Center and the Contemporary Print ('garden', Caravaca).

Among the participants are many artists winners in different competitions and engraving workshop attendees recording or widely recognized as the North Central Lithographic (Gijón), Vistillas Workshop (Madrid) or CMAGEC ('garden', Caravaca).
It also involved various local artists and some local young artists with scholarships from the City of Cartagena.
With the implementation of these workshops Graphic Creation intends to Cartagena as a new benchmark in the world of graphic design as the host city of an art project that promotes the creation from its base, workshops, studies by the acquisition of knowledge, sharing of experiences, expanding contacts and collective participation.
