The City of Cartagena, through the Neighborhood Council Municipal Marfagones Mills has spent almost 40,000 euros in improving street lighting in several villages of Los Puertos de Santa Barbara, with the installation of 17 new points of light.
Specifically, new lights have been placed in the hamlet of Los Mantica, in the hamlet of Musolino, in the houses of John the Milerire, in Canavate and the Ermita de Los Puertos de Santa Barbara.
These points come into service tomorrow Friday, August 22 to mark the start of Festivals in Los Puertos de Santa Barbara de Abajo.
Diego Ortega, president of the Neighborhood Board Marfagones Mills, stressed that these actions in the ports of Santa Barbara correspond to requests from their own neighborhood associations and the residents of the area.
With these actions has increased lighting of almost 3,000 ports in more and Watts are lit villages that had no street lighting, has concluded Ortega.
