On Saturday August 23 will take place the pilgrimage in honor of San Ginés de la Jara, patron of Cartagena, which this year celebrates the twenty fifth anniversary of its conclusion.
Organized by the Brotherhood of Romeros de San Ginés de la Jara, in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, the festive day will begin at 9 am with a concentration of rosemary, wagons, carriages and horses in the church of Charity where there will be a floral offering to the Virgin of Charity, and from where you depart on a pilgrimage to the church of San Ginés.
From this point, the procession will pass through Torreciega, La Aparecida and Roche, where there will be a paella for all attendees, along with partying and music.
Later, the procession will leave for Los Camachos, where there will be a farewell to all Associations Honor Big Brother Manuel Sanchez Juarez, for his twenty years of pilgrimages.
The day will end with a general camp on the esplanade of Cartagonova, where there will be a great celebration of Trophies and Appointments, enlivened by musical performances.
