The councilman of Deportes of the City of Cartagena, Alonso Gómez, along with the general director of FC Cartagena, Francisco López Hernández and the Hercules CF, Blas Bernal, presented this morning XXXVII Carabela Silver Trophy "City of Cartagena ' .
This Trophy was played between FC Cartagena and the Hercules CF on Saturday, August 16, at 20.00 hours at the Municipal Stadium Cartagonova.
As explained by the overall leader of Cartagena, is the fifth time the visiting team Alicante Cartagena to contest the trophy.
In the four previous occasions (1971, 1983, 1985 and 2003) has managed to clinch the Silver Caravel two of them.
Paco Lopez hopes that Saturday's game against Hercules, a team made to get on first and a staff very good, as has been said, is nice for the spectators.
For its part, Blas Bernal recalled the historic sporting rivalry between the teams, matching some years in the second B.
