The Directorate General of Labour has approved the terms of labor parties in 2009, both on a regional basis, which gave the green light last February, the Governing Council of the Region of Murcia, such as local, determined by the municipalities.
As regional parties are set out on June 9, Day of the Region, replacing November 2, Monday after All Saints Day, also on March 19, the day of San José, on 9 April, Holy Thursday , and on December 7, Monday after Constitution Day, which this year falls on Sunday.
For its part, each of the municipalities of the Region has approved the timetable for the two local parties within the respective municipality, accounting for Cartagena on April 3, Good Friday that starts the Holy Week, and September 25, Friday, Carthaginians and Romans, as is traditional.
The rest of festivities remain as in the rest of the country: on 1 January (New Year), Jan. 6 (Epiphany), April 10 (Good Friday), May 1 (Labour Day) August 15 (Assumption), October 12 (National Holiday of Spain), December 8 (Immaculate Conception) and December 25 (Christmas Day).
