ADIF public company under the Ministry of Development, has renewed the interior and exterior signage Station Cartagena, to unify the user information and encouraging transit users for the railway facilities.
With this initiative, ADIF, in addition to carrying out a change of signage consistent with the needs of users, adapting signaling to Cartagena Station corporate identity manual.
The new signage has involved an investment of EUR 50,792.28.
Specifically, they have been replaced with the informative signs located on the platforms, which refer both to service the station and the population, and installed new labels that indicate the roads, entrances and exits to the various services offered station.
Inside the lobby, has adapted to the new signage the point of information and ticketing, as well as other services such as cafeteria, departments and work areas of the station.
The catalog includes new items placed signs on doors and access points to the various departments, as well as the placement of poles on the floor and ceiling information and use of information banners on pillars and walls of the station.
The new signage has been adapted to the conditions and requirements of their position, so that the materials used and the use of electrical items that illuminate the new signage are low power consumption, and meet safety standards for both users of the station, and staff who will be responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the new elements.
These works are financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Operational Programme of Murcia 2000-2006.
Co-financing rate is 50%.
