On Monday July 21 Houllebecq Michel will talk at 21:00 pm at the Centro Cultural de Cajamurcia in Cartagena with his friend and philosophy professor, Antonio Muñoz Ballesta.
Born in 1958 in the French island of Reunion.
He published his first novel, Extension field, in 1994, and his second work, The Elementary Particles, 98.
This novel gave him international fame and recognition, becoming a literary and social phenomenon.
The book sold in France more than 350,000 copies and is published in over 30 countries.
