In the late nineteenth century Paris took over from Rome as a mecca of art.
Thus began to set the standards in terms of artistic production for contemporary art is inconceivable without the mention of the French capital and the School of Paris itself.
Thus, the School of Paris becomes an essential reference and title whose concept encompasses not only inaccurate but also some controversy regarding its definition.
The School of Paris from a historical point of view art is as wide as almost incomprehensible because it, almost like a catch-all, are usually placed the most diverse forms and trends to understand the art with their artists.
If you really either historically or artistically there is this new school, we must recognize that most historians and art critics use their existence to group it as a series of Spanish artists throughout the twentieth century left with a more remote academic and more creatively.
While there is no record or evidence of a School of Paris as a conceptual approach we can say that it brought together artists from a large number of countries seeking to cultivate and express their talent in an appropriate environment for it.
Creative freedom and the spirit of reform were the axes around which revolved the hope of the artists from across the continent.
It seems generally accepted that one of the main features of the Paris School was just that the artists came from abroad - from the French point of view - so that is not usually include TAS artists of that country in this illustrious list.
Either way, it was a cosmopolitan character primarily reflected the essence of the French city as capital of art.
Another defining element of the School of Paris is located on the figure of the dealer and the Polish poet Leopold Zborowski who promoted some of the painters of the school including from the Spanish orbit may be mentioned Joseph and Manuel Humbert Togar.
Returning to the Spanish artists of the School of Paris should recognize the poor response at the time of the historical avant these trends were in Spain.
Generally, artists are coming to Paris know the work of these great masters.
It is undeniable that the movement of ideas and experiences with other very great artists in the city of light was extremely enriching for our artists of the School of Paris as in the case of Matisse, Braque, Modigliana, Chagall, De Chirico, and some others.
However, it stresses the teaching of Pablo Ruiz Picasso on Spanish painters.
This is the case of a long list of artists who go through a stage more or less openly Picasso, not to mention the influence of two teachers privileged, Dalí and Miró.
