Manuel �ngel Moreno, who until now has led the Primary Care Management of Cartagena, will become managing director of the Hospital del Rosell de Cartagena in place of Jose Miguel Artero, director of the Hospital since May 2006.

Artero, after intense work during this time management has included planning the new hospital in Cartagena, leaving the direction of Cartagena hospital for personal reasons after nine years in executive management tasks in different organisms Murciano Health Service.

Manuel �ngel Moreno, with extensive experience in the field of health management will be appointed in coming days.

Have, among others, the task of reorganizing the structure of the health area of Cartagena with the idea of turning over the medium term in a single management, as has been done in other health areas in the Region, and always according with the strategic lines defined by the Ministry of Health and the Health Service of Murcia.

Also work on continuous improvement of the management of Santa Maria del Rosell Hospital and the opening of the New Hospital of Cartagena, scheduled for late 2010.

Over from Manuel �ngel Moreno in the Management of Primary will take Cartagena Juan Francisco Mart�nez Garc�a, currently Medical Director and expert management of the health sector.

These changes complete the team that made the transit organization in the health area of Cartagena.

Curriculum

Manuel �ngel Moreno Valero (Villanueva de C�rdoba, 1956) graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of C�rdoba and a specialist in Family and Community Medicine.

Was medical coordinator in the Health Center of San Antonio de Cartagena, and managing director of Primary Cartagena from 1996 until this year.

He holds a Diploma in Human Resources from the National School of Health Management Specialist Hospital and Health Services at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

Has completed the Advanced Management Program in Health Institutions (PADI), the Institute of Higher Business Studies (IESE - Universidad de Navarra) and Masters in Health Law and Bioethics, taught by the Foundation for Health Research and Training of Murcia Region in collaboration with the University of Murcia.
