For three months, July, August and September, the Virgen de la Caridad neighborhood will feature numerous activities for their neighbors, especially those who like to street life, to enjoy their leisure time during the summer.
For the third year running various councils of the City of Cartagena, including Social Care, Youth, Sports and Civic Participation, have worked with neighborhood groups to realize this project.
These groups find their own neighborhood association, the association of women Awakening school football Hope Alcacilería carnival group, club Third Age, the Arab collective and Stella Maris College.
Responsible for presenting the activities have been the council's Social Care and Youth, Antonio Calderon and Javier Herrero, alongside the president of the neighbors, Juan Gómez Ayala.
Gómez Ayala thanked the City Council their cooperation and stressed the goodness of this program as this year's slogan suggests, is a Joy and Fun Dip.
Herrero Calderón and the councilors have said for his part in different activities which assist their respective departments, highlighting the part of the Great Social Care Closing Children's Party to be held on September 5 in the Chronicler Casal Square, and by Youth, the different trips and workshops.
The program consists mainly of sports and championships (football, basketball, dominoes "), cultural trips (to Alcala de Júcar and Vera Water Park), summer theater, traditional games (like sack races, spoon, chair) and workshops (and amulets embroidery, printing T-shirts and circus skills).
An offer which will certainly make it very difficult to get bored during these months in the neighborhood.
