The Autonomous Community of Murcia has received today the transfer of central government staff seconded to the General Hospital of Defense Basic Cartagena, as reflected in the Royal Decree which was published today in the Official State Bulletin (BOE).
This occurs after the last Friday, June 27, the Governing Council ratified the agreement by which the Autonomous assumed the transfer of various functions and services to the Region of Murcia, as agreed at the plenary session of the Commission Joint Administration of State Transfers Autonomous Community of Murcia, which is assumed the transfer of civilian staff of the Naval Hospital in Cartagena and certain features and services of the Instituto Social de la Marina.
In this way both the staff assigned to the services being transferred, including 337 workers, today happens to depend on the EC in the terms established by law by the Statute of Autonomy.
In accordance with the Statute of Workers, the transferred staff continue to be governed by the collective agreement in force at the time of transfer, without prejudice to subsequently implement the employment provisions of the Regional Health Administration.
The assumption of personnel is the result of an agreement signed on 27 December 2007 between the Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, and Under Secretary of Defense, San José María Victoria, which set out the conditions for assignment by the Ministry of Defense facilities and equipment of the Naval Hospital and the transfer of civilian staff of the center of the Autonomous Community, which was performed as reflected by a royal decree.
Earlier, on March 1 this year, was formally administrative concession for public use by the Naval Hospital, Ministry of Defense Health Service of Murcia, which assumed the SMS management, total equipment and maintenance of the hospital that is intended for health care from the Health Area 2 Cartagena.
In addition, the BOE today includes another royal decree on the transfer to the Community of the functions and services of Social Security in health care entrusted to the Social Marine Institute.
