The coordinator of IU in Cartagena, Victoria Rodriguez, today branded "unfair" price increases in local water and noted that this increase would affect only "those who make excessive use of it."

Rodriguez said that this measure, coupled with the consequences of the economic crisis suffered by the families, "makes us further belt tightening to just be able to breathe."

"It's not fair that ordinary citizens pay for the bad management that is making the government team," he said.
