Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, received this morning a hundred of participants from the XIX National Mathematical Olympiad, held in the Region of Murcia from 24 to 28 June.

Maroto has received the 68 student finalists from all over Spain and enrolled in Secondary 2, together with the teachers who accompany them, and are housed in the High Performance Centre in Los Narejos.

Within the program of the Olympics, the participants have used his visit to Cartagena to visit the main cultural and tourist attractions of the city, including the Palace Hall, where the reception took place.

At the end of it, participants have received some gifts from the city.
