The Directorate General of the Book of the Ministry of Culture of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, with the collaboration of the Culture Department of the City of Cartagena, take place next Friday, June 29, after 10 00 hours, the distribution of three thousand paperback books in various parts of the city, as is the case of bus stops Paseo Alfonso XIII, and FEVE railway stations or bus station.
This initiative is framed in the campaign to encourage reading organized by the Directorate General of Books with a first printing related to the means of transport.
The main objective of the campaign is to encourage reading, encouraging the citizens to close the book, removing it from the bookstores and libraries to bring it to the more common use of citizens as well as promote new writers projection.
Although it is a first edition, this action has a clear intention of continuing as it plans to issue a new series of books will be distributed in places of entertainment.
