The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Planning, through the Mar Menor and Cluster Foundation in collaboration with the Environmental Volunteer Caja Mediterráneo (Volcam) organizes a program of restoration of the Marina del Carmolí and its influence in the Sea Minor.
Actions aimed at volunteer training sessions to include field trips to raise awareness of the importance of environmental awareness and actions of cleaning and care of the environment.
The Wetlands Centre 'Las Salinas' welcomes the formation of environmental volunteers on the Mar Menor and the surrounding habitat, flora and fauna, and bird banding.
Hands-on activities contemplated cleanup land and sea, conducting an inventory of the flora and a census of birds, and bird ringing in the Navy.
These volunteer days take place on Fridays and Saturdays, starting next Friday, June 13 until July 5 and the course will close with a presentation of certificates to participants.

Cluster Foundation Mar Menor, a body created from the Ministry in 2005 for the protection and sustainable development of the Mar Menor, does this volunteer project along the Mediterranean Cash Volcam 2008 for the conservation of one of the unique spaces in the natural heritage of the Region as is the salt lake.
